В США это облигации, гарантированные как первоклассные, но проценты по ним выплачиваются по результатам деятельности, т.е. только в случае получения прибыли и заявления о ней совета директоров эмитента. Отсутствие процентных выплат не говорит о крахе. (Отметим, что в Великобритании доходные облигации связаны с вложениями средств под фиксированный процент в компании по страхованию жизни и выплаты по ним выступают в форме немедленного аннуитета* плюс отсроченный аннуитет**.)
